An American scientist first discovered it, named as Karl Landsteiner, who concluded that there are four different kinds of blood groups. According to his blood groups classification method: A person found in antigen "A" is having blood group A, which a person possess antigen "B" having blood group B, a person accommodating with both antigen "A" and "B" having blood group "AB" and a person who does not have any antigen in their blood has blood group O.
