Conjunction Notes:
Conjunctions are the words which connect words , phrase and independent clause into complex and more interesting sentences. The main purpose which is served by conjunctions is to glue the words. It save us from small sentences. With the help of these conjunctions we can convey maximum information in single sentences instead of many, small and less informative sentences. There are three types of conjunctions in English grammar which serves us with somehow same purpose. Some examples of conjunctions are but,and,yet,because,since,while and where etc. There are three types of conjunctions first one is coordinating ,correlative and subordinating conjunctions. These are some example of sentences having conjunctions. "I have two goldfish and a cat." "I'd like a bike for commuting to work." "You can have peach ice cream or a brownie sundae." We can use conjunctions to convert two sentences into single one.
