One tool for representing the collected data regarding requirements is called affinity diagram. Affinity diagram is a tool that helps a group identify common themes associated with a project or an activity. A large number of ideas can be categorized and reviewed for a common decision using affinity diagrams. The members of the group write one idea each on a paper/card. The cards are placed on a table and ideas related to a similar theme are placed together. The cards are moved till all the members reach consensus. Based on the cards, affinity diagram is made.
