Advertising Explanation:
To conduct procurement, the communication between the buyer and the prospective sellers is necessary. A technique used for communication is called advertising. Advertising, in general, is a marketing tool used to communicate with the customers or users of the products or services of an organization. In case of conducting procurement, advertising is used to connect with the potential sellers. Usually, the existing sellers of the organization are contacted through advertisements. Advertising can be done using newspapers, general circulations and special publications. An example of advertising for procurement is a government's advertisement in a public newspaper, requesting for bids or quotations for construction material to be used in a construction project.
