Change Management Plan Explanation:

It is important to identify any changes in the project. Changes in the project that are initiated by either the customer or the contractor must be requested formally and managed and controlled accordingly. Changes are compared against the scope, schedule and estimated cost of the project. A document that gives the details of how the changes in the project will be managed and controlled is called change management plan. A change management plan defines the activities of controlling changes in the project and describes the roles and responsibilities in change management. Having a change management plan helps the business to minimize the effects of the changes on customer, project team, key stakeholders and contractor itself.
