To complete a project, resources are needed. One of the most important resource needed for a project is human resource. Project team has to be developed in order to get together the skilled and expert people so that they can use their skill sets to carry out the project successfully. Each team member is assigned a role and responsibility in the project to perform. However, sometimes, the best resources are grouped together in one place (physical) so that their ability to perform can be increased. This concept is called colocation. Colocation can be temporary, making it an effective strategy to perform those tasks that are very important to the project. It can also be adopted throughout the project. Colocation helps to increase the productivity, efficiency, and communication and coordination among the team.
