In order to achieve excellent quality in all the functions of an organization, the three spheres of quality (quality control, quality assurance and quality management) work as building blocks. However, the three spheres of quality depend upon an organization capabilities. These are termed as enterprise capabilities. These are the capabilities that make an organization different from others. Enterprise capabilities are repeated actions that a firm perform to achieve its goals by efficiently using its resources. Based on these capabilities, customer satisfaction can be achieved. Enterprise capabilities allow an organization to optimally consume its resources, effectively perform the processes and participate in improvement activities. Some examples of enterprise capabilities are leadership, innovation and creativity, agility, focus on customers etc.
