Quality is not related to the day to day technical issues only rather the management of an organization must take part in improving the overall quality. For this reason, management develop and adopt some approaches for continuous quality improvement within the organization. The organization then assesses its performance in this regard by different self-assessment programs. One of them is Baldrige Performance Excellence Program. Baldrige model involves seven interrelated categories that include leadership, strategic planning, focus on customers, knowledge management (including measurement and analysis), workforce, operations, and results.
