A person with International Association of Six Sigma (IASS) black belt certification not only possess a great knowledge of basic and advance quality control processes including DMAIC process, but also guides the green belts to properly implement the quality control tools and techniques. Six Sigma black belts work in close relation with green belts and champions. Their job is to help, guide, supervise and lead the green belts for process improvement. They are specially trained individuals and their training lasts for a long time period of four months.
