Business Case Explanation:

In the define phase of DMAIC process, the first step is to develop business case. A business case is a document that outlines the reason of starting a quality project. In developing a business case, three steps are involved. First of all, possible project alternatives are identified. Then a business case is developed for the selected project. And finally, using the business case, the problem statement is developed and the objectives of the project are determined and listed in the business case. A business case highlights the goals of the project, the measurable and deliverables of the project. To check the efficiency of the business case, RUMBA is used. It determines if the business case is realistic, understandable, measurable, believable, and attainable.
