Computer aided Inspection Explanation:
With the increase in technology use, every stage of product development nowadays use technology. When a product is designed, some computer softwares can be used instead of drafting table, papers and pencils. This is called computer-aided design. Moreover, the designs must be inspected for any defects at the design stage. This can also be done by using specific computer softwares. This concept is called computer-aided inspection (CAI). Computer-aided inspection can involve inspecting a whole product or its parts/components. Computer-aided inspection can also be performed at production stage. Just like online inspection which is performed by hands (checking for any defects through physical contact with the product), computer-aided inspection aids in checking for any defects in the products using either infrared or sensors.
