Abyssal Zone Notes:
Abyssal zone is a layer in the ocean's pelagic zone. Since this zone is quite deep i.e. present at the depths of 4,000 to 6,000 m therefore this zone does not receive sunlight at all. In this zone, the pressure if quite high and temperature is quite cold and favors the survival of anaerobic organisms.
