Antiterminator Explanation

Antiterminator proteins are the proteins used by some pages to regulate the gene expression from one stage to the next. They cause transcription to continue through terminators. Common examples are the N, λ and Q proteins. The lambda gene codes for the antitermination protein pN, that is important to help RNA polymerase read through terminators present at the ends of the immediate early genes. pQ is another antitermination protein, required in the phage infection.
