Understand every student. Then help them grow.

Our goal is simple to say and hard to do: build software that knows how each learner actually thinks: their strengths, gaps, pace and confidence. It then uses that knowledge to improve education for students everywhere, from the first year of school to the final year of a doctorate.

Our mission

Education is the most powerful lever in the world, and the least personalised.

A classroom of thirty students receives one lesson, one pace and one test. The student who already understands waits. The student who is lost falls further behind. The teacher, doing their best, has no practical way to see where each of the thirty actually stands.

We have spent more than a decade writing assessment content and building the tools students use to practise it. Across our websites, apps and books we have watched hundreds of thousands of learners answer millions of questions. That experience taught us something important: the data to understand every student already exists. What is missing is the intelligence to interpret it and the products to act on it. That is what Techleens is building.

From score to understanding

A test score tells you what happened. We want to know why.

Assessment today
  • One number at the end of a chapter
  • Same questions, same order, for everyone
  • Mistakes are counted, not explained
  • Feedback arrives days later, if at all
  • Teachers see averages, not individuals
  • Each stage of education starts from zero
Assessment with Techleens AI
  • A living profile that updates with every answer
  • Questions chosen for what the learner needs next
  • Every mistake traced to the concept behind it
  • Guidance in the moment, while it still matters
  • Teachers see each student, not a class average
  • One continuous record from Grade 1 to PhD

What we measure

Capability has more than one dimension. So does our model.

Our assessment engine builds a multi-dimensional profile of each learner, refined continuously as they study. These are the dimensions it tracks.

Knowledge

Mastery of each concept in the curriculum, mapped topic by topic, not chapter by chapter.

Reasoning

How a learner applies what they know to unfamiliar problems: analysis, inference and transfer.

Pace

Time to answer, time to recover from an error, and how both change as confidence builds.

Confidence

The gap between what a student believes they know and what they can demonstrate, a key predictor of exam performance.

Retention

Whether learning survives a week, a month, a semester, and when a concept should be revisited.

Learning profile

The combination of all dimensions, which drives personalised content, pacing and recommendations for each student.

Every grade, every level

One continuous model of learning, from the first classroom to the research lab.

We already serve this entire range through MCQsLearn. The next step is connecting it, so a learner's profile travels with them.

Why us, why now

We are not starting from a whiteboard.

Most AI-in-education ideas fail for one reason: no content and no students to learn from. We bring both, plus a team that has already shipped the hard parts.

A content foundation of 85,000+ questions

Authored, reviewed and tagged by subject experts across 110+ courses. This is the structured data an assessment engine needs on day one.

Real learners, real behaviour

Students in 150+ countries already practise on our platforms. Their anonymised patterns teach the model what a struggling student looks like before they fail.

Delivery across every surface

Web, iOS, Android and e-book pipelines are already live, so new intelligence reaches students without rebuilding distribution.

Engineering discipline from years in production

QA, release management, cloud infrastructure and store compliance are solved problems for us, which lets the team focus on the learning science.

Roadmap

Where we are, and where we're going.

We build in the open and ship in stages. Each phase is a product students can use, not a slide.

  1. Phase 1 · Delivered

    Content & distribution at scale

Two web platforms, 55 apps and 98 e-books. Streaks, badges, timed quizzes, readiness scores and SAT mock tests already live in the MCQsLearn All-in-One app.

  2. Phase 2 · In progress

    Capability profiling engine

Concept-level tagging across the question bank, learner profiling on the five dimensions, and adaptive question selection inside the apps.

  3. Phase 3 · Next

    AI tutor & explanations

Natural-language explanations for every mistake, step-by-step guidance and study plans generated from each learner's own profile.

  4. Phase 4 · Planned

    Teacher & institution platform

Dashboards that turn student profiles into classroom decisions, with integrations for schools, colleges and universities worldwide.

Principles

What we will not compromise on.

AI in education carries real responsibility. These commitments guide every product decision we make.

Student data is protected, always

Minimal collection, strong encryption, no selling of learner data, and full compliance with child-privacy regulation in every market we serve.

Explainable, not a black box

Every recommendation our system makes can be traced to the evidence behind it, so students and teachers can trust it and question it.

Teachers are amplified, not replaced

Our tools give educators better information and more time. The judgement about how to teach a child stays with the human in the room.

Accessible by design

Low-bandwidth modes, affordable pricing and free tiers, because the students who need better assessment most are often the ones with the least access.
